I would like to submit a feature request regarding the filament spool management system.
It would be incredibly useful to have the ability to assign a specific, custom-calibrated filament profile directly to an individual spool within the spool list. The ideal workflow would be that when I send a print job using a slicer (such as Bambu Studio), SimplyPrint automatically recognizes the selected spool and ensures that its linked calibration profile is loaded and used for the print.
Currently, keeping track of different calibrations for various materials (like specific flow dynamics, layer heights, or ironing settings) requires double-checking and manual profile selection before every print. If the calibrated profile were intrinsically linked to the physical spool in the SimplyPrint database, it would guarantee that the correct parameters are always applied seamlessly.
This automation would greatly streamline the workflow and reduce potential human error for users who fine-tune their filaments. Thank you for considering this enhancement!
