Multi-Color Printing with External Spool#829

Bambu Studio has a “Multi-Color Printing with External Spool” mode (see: wiki.bambulab.com/en/bambu-studio/multi_color_with_external) that lets users do multi-color prints without an AMS. When this box is checked, the printer pauses after each color finishes, prompts the user to swap the external spool for the next color, and the user taps “Continue” on the printer screen to resume — all within a single layer, without needing a dedicated color-change layer.

Right now SimplyPrint doesn’t seem to recognize or surface this pause/prompt cycle. It would help a lot if SimplyPrint could:

Detect and display the pause state in the app/dashboard when the printer is waiting for a filament swap during one of these external-spool color changes, instead of showing it as a generic “paused” or idle status.
Push a notification (mobile/push/webhook) telling the user it’s time to swap the external spool, so they don’t have to babysit the printer for prints with many color changes.
Log which filament/color was loaded for each swap during the job, so filament usage/inventory tracking (which currently only works for SimplyPrint-queued prints) can also account for the colors used in this external-spool workflow — even when the print itself was started from Bambu Studio directly.

This would make it a lot more practical to run true multi-color prints on printers without an AMS (or when supplementing AMS colors with an external spool) while still getting SimplyPrint’s remote monitoring and filament tracking benefits.
