When printing labels, add the ability to include the name of mapped colors that map to the spool in question. In scenarios where the a color name other than the manufacturers color is used, having this mapped color name on the spool label adds a lot of value.

Hi Michael :) Thanks for the suggestion!
Can you elaborate on what you mean by the “mapped color”…? I’m not quite sure what that would be in this case.

Under Settings -> Tagging -> Color Mapping, where you assign a custom color name to the hex code of a spool. When printing a label we’d want to be able to check if the current spool matches one of those color mappings and display the name from the mapping on the label.

Hmh alright. Just to be devil’s advocate here; why not just, when it’s custom-created spools, create them with the right hex and color name?
The color mapping feature is designed to “fix” auto-tagged files and synced printer materials, letting you change one red HEX and color name to a slightly different one, e.g. one from our color list; what’s the case here?
