Suggestion:
I’d like to recommend a refinement for the Basic Tier to make it a more compelling “no-brainer” for hobbyists moving up from the Free tier. Currently, at $5.99, the jump is a bit high for casual users who don’t necessarily need the heavy-hitting features.
The Proposal:
Price Adjustment: Aim for a $2.99–$3.99 sweet spot.
Add Print Queue: Even a limited queue (e.g., 3–5 slots) would provide massive value to hobbyists.
Offset Costs: To keep this sustainable for SimplyPrint, I suggest:
Replacing “Unlimited Cloud Slicing” with a monthly limit.
Adding a usage cap on AI Failure Detection to reduce your backend/compute costs.
Why this works: Most hobbyists prioritize workflow (the queue) over high-cost compute features like unlimited cloud slicing. This change lowers the barrier to entry while protecting your margins.
