Enable trial before you upgrade on individual features and also licensing for individual capabilities#645

I’m very interested in custom tags for file library mgmt but going to find it hard to justify moving from basic to print farm for this feature. I also would like to be able to trial autoprint to see if it does what I need before committing.

We start everyone out on a free 14 day trial for any plan they’d like, and every year you can reset your trial. We found this to be the best way for most possible people to experience our paid features before making a potential commitment, rather than having to specifically choose a trial.

If you’d like, just reach out in our livechat and I’ll gladly reset your trial and put you on the Print Farm plan so you can try it out.

At this stage we’re not looking to make a “mix your own bag of features” plan for various reasons - the idea, especially from the consumer’s perspective, is pretty good, but it’s hard to make work in reality in both feature adoption and monetisation; most subscriptions, like ours, isn’t priced based on a notion that you’ll use every single feature that that plan comes with, every day for at least [X] hours. It’s priced based on the value we believe the featureset and overall plan brings, and what segments need what features.
