Print queue hold button#180

I would like to be able to put queue items on hold or have them blocked from having them be queued onto printers without having to delete them.

There are cases where my technicians might need to hold orders or we need to pause production.

I was thinking something slightly different but would accomplish the same thing. Having a priority for each queue item, maybe a “High”, “Normal” and “Pause”. For me the use case is I have a full queue for parts I’m printing to stock, but have a custom order come in and I need to manually reorder, the queue, it would be great if I could just add it to the queue as critical and have it jump to the top.

We solved this by adding a custom field and having a due date. Then separate queue groups for Expedited, Reprints. And Standard orders.
